XV. #PEPERODAY AT APC

PEPEROO! Oh how I love pepero and I loved it even more when it decided to go to our school. Imagine your favorite food has an event in your school. Am I lucky or what? (haha)

Pepero has been around since 1983, it is a cookie stick dipped in chocolate which has various flavors. Pepero is manufactureed by the Lotte Confectionary in South Korea. Even though Lotte faced some controversies and lawsuits about Pepero being inspired by Pocky, Pepero is still being produced and distributed in different parts of the world.

Pepero day started in South Korea (of course haha) it is on November 11. The main purpose of Pepero Day back then was exchanging Pepero in hopes of becoming thinner and taller. But nowadays Pepero Day is a day where you will exchange or give Pepero to the people you love.

Pepero decided to bring Pepero Day here in Manila and Asia Pacific College is one of those colleges chosen to celebrate that day. We had games and contests that of course had Pepero products as prizes. During the day we also had free Pepero! (Yay!)It was a day to remember.
